Recent Update

10/6:Showing an incredible amount of trust in Pedro Baez, Dave Roberts put him on the postseason roster along with former starter Ross Stripling. Struggling starter Hyun-Jin Ryu was left off, supposedly because he was uncomfortable coming out of the bullpen. Baez has a shocking 10.38 ERA over several September meltdowns, to go with his 5.13 ERA in the second half. He owns tremendous numbers against Paul Goldschmidt, who's 1-for-15 against Baez with seven K. But Goldy had similar numbers against Jon Gray before taking him deep in Wednesday's Wild Card elimination game. Stripling can be both a short and long man out of the pen, so that move makes sense. Ryu had looked good for a two month stretch but faded down the line. He can replace any starters that may get injured or fatigued in the next series if the Dodgers advance.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
