Recent Update

5/18:San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto gave up five earned runs against the Dodgers on Wednesday, striking out six batters in six innings and walking one. Cueto now has a 4.50 ERA and 1.26 WHIP on the year and has a tough task in his next start against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. There's no reason to be overly concerned about Cueto, as his 8.07 K/9 and 2.48 BB/9 are in line with his career norms. But with the inconsistency he's shown, Cueto might not be the same top-tier starter that was drafted at the start of the season.--Troy Klauder - RotoBaller

  • @extrabaggs: Cueto said no excuses. He is getting hit. But said he needs to keep throwing to build up a callous and stay in his routine.
