Welcome to the weekend. Another fun-filled day of baseball awaits including a double-header (Marlins-Nats). Plenty of aces are on the board, including Jake Arrieta, Corey Kluber, Jose Quintana, and Carlos Martinez. There's also some cost-conscious plays too. Check out who below!

In this article, I’ll be providing you with the top starting pitcher streamers for daily fantasy baseball (DFS) and for seasonal leagues for 5/14/16. These streamers will range from high-priced / high-ownership options to low-priced / low-ownership options, and will be sleepers and value picks for your cash games and GPPs on DraftKings and FanDuel, and also for seasonal leagues with daily lineups.

There'll be three main sections of this article: our Pitcher Matchups Tool’s top plays, my value plays, and pitchers to fade. I highly recommend you check out the Daily Pitcher Matchups Ratings tool - it's an extremely useful tool for daily fantasy or seasonal streaming for finding the diamonds in the rough. Anyways, let's get cracking!

Daily Pitcher Matchup Ratings Tool Top Plays

Corey Kluber (SP, CLE) vs Twins

FanDuel - $8,700 / DraftKings - $9,700

Kluber barely nudges Arrieta over the top spot today, but for good reason. The Twins have been a bottom-five offense versus right-handed pitching, striking out 22.4% of the time. Look for Kluber to pick up another win today.

Jake Arrieta (SP, CHC) vs Pirates

FanDuel - $12,000 / DraftKings - $12,300

Arrieta has some sub-standard performances lately per his standards, but he's still a top play. The Pirates .678 OPS versus righties is sixth-worst in baseball, and Arrieta has dominated them in his career (66 IP, 1.50 ERA, 56/13 K/BB). Hopefully the lackluster performances lower ownership today, but I doubt it.

Max’s Value Plays of the Day

Aaron Nola (SP, PHI) vs Reds

FanDuel - $8,400 / DraftKings - $7,500

Nola has been excellent thus far, posting a 3.13 ERA and 9.59 K/9 rate. He dominated the Reds in his only start versus them (7 IP, ER, 8 K) with a solo HR doing all the damage.

Scott Kazmir (SP, LAD) vs Cardinals

FanDuel - $8,900 / DraftKings - $8,100

Kazmir has been shaky so far (5.54 ERA) but this is a good spot for him. The Cardinals .235 BAA and .654 OPS versus lefties are both third-worst in baseball. Facing C-Mart should only lower his ownership, making this a nice tourney play.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Anibal Sanchez (SP, DET) at Orioles

FanDuel - $8,600 / DraftKings - $7,400

A home-run pitcher versus the team with the most home runs versus right-handed pitching. This smells like trouble.

Carlos Martinez (SP, STL) at Dodgers

FanDuel - $8,300 / DraftKings - $6,900

I'm not convinced C-Mart is completely healthy and as mentioned above, this is a good spot for Scott Kazmir. The Dodgers .269 BAA righties is fifth-best in baseball.
