ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears wide receiver Kendall Wright had seven catches for 81 yards against the Lions on Sunday and appears to be peaking at just the right time for Chicago. Wright has 24 targets over the last two weeks, catching 17 passes for 188 yards, and was the lone offensive bright spot on Sunday. He has caught 50 of his 77 targets this season and, even though he only has one touchdown catch this season, is the sure-handed receiver that a rookie quarterback like Mitchell Trubisky needs.

Wright had five or less targets in the three proceeding games to his 107-yard breakout against the Bengals in Week 14, but he still leads the team with 50 receptions and 558 yards this season. In fact, no other wide receiver has more than 37 targets (Josh Bellamy) and on work load alone, Wright is the only pass catcher to own in the Windy City. The Bears utilize their running backs more than their passing game, Jordan Howard is over 1000 yards and Tarik Cohen is their second-leading receiver, so there is some risk in picking any receiver for Chicago.

Wright and the Bears will play the Browns (who allow the 19th-most points to fantasy WR) and Wright is a nice play, even though the Browns are not awful against wide receivers. The Bears seem to be giving Wright more work and quarterback Trubisky seems to have built comfort in targeting the veteran. Even if there is not a ton of upside with Wright, his floor is decent enough to make him a flex play in deeper leagues.
