ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen only had 47 total yards against the Colts on Saturday, but a great matchup to close the season makes him a good sleeper for Week 17. Allen may have not had a good game this week, but he is a week removed from a game against the Browns where he had 70 rushing yards, and he is averaging 5.7 yards per touch over the last three games. His volume is low (he has not had at least 15 touches since October), but his ability to make the most of his opportunities is something to watch.

Alex Collins is the clear lead running back for the Ravens, but he is coming off of a game where he only had 51 rushing yards on 18 carries. In fact, he only had 70 rushing yards over the last two games and, while his 4.7 yards per carry are impressive, his poor performances lately could see Allen get more touches. Danny Woodhead is back for the Ravens as well and, while he is a safe bet for receptions, his value in the running game is minimal.

A matchup against the Bengals, who allow the 3rd-most points against running backs, is an ideal close to the 2017 season for Allen and the Ravens. There is a messy backfield in Baltimore, with Woodhead and Collins as the backs with defined roles right now, but Allen has been good enough to pick up the scraps. When considering Collins' struggles and the Bengals poor rushing defense, Allen can be a sneaky flex start this week.
