10/18:The long-awaited return of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) for the 2017 regular season is looking more and more in doubt. General manager Chris Ballard announced on Wednesday that Luck will not practice this week due to soreness arising from a cortisone injection in his surgically-repaired right shoulder, per Andrew Walker of the Indy Star. Fantasy owners hoping to have the star quarterback back by Week 8 have to be disappointed to hear of yet another obstacle to his return. Those who have been holding Luck on a bench spot should consider dropping him if better options are available on the waiver wire, as it is becoming clearer that the team plans to handle him more cautiously than it had originally led on. The odds of Luck returning this season appear quite slim.--Taylor Maxston - RotoBaller
