FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/17/17): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Now that we are in the playoffs, the options will be limited every night. With only two games Monday, cashing out is only getting that much tougher. You need the perfect lineup with the ideal amount of variety tossed in. Sticking towards moderate priced players will be a decent strategy heading into tonight. The Grizzlies should make Game 2 closer, while the Pacers and Cavaliers will continue to battle.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/17/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Patty Mills - PG, vs MEM ($3,600)

Tony Parker had all the fun in the Game 1 routing of the Grizzlies, now it is Patty Mills' turn. He went a perfect 3-3 from deep which is a promising sign, regardless of the lack of total contributions. Memphis should put up a much bigger fight, forcing San Antonio's second unit to actually be needed. Last game they got the chance to rest and let the deeper reserves see an increased role. Tony Parker is solid but inconsistency plagues the veteran. This is Patty Mills game to own.

 J.R. Smith - SG, vs IND ($3,600)

One of the streakiest shooters, but a minimal price tag makes it worth it. He played a full workload of minutes, and Game 2 should be just as close as the first. J.R. Smith is going to be needed if the Cavaliers want to end this series early. His stateliness did not reflect his performance and he should be in for much more shots this next game.

Also Consider: Deron Wiliams - PG, vs IND ($3,600)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jonathan Simmons - SF, vs MEM ($2,700)

The Spurs dominated the Grizzlies. I am not saying that will happen again, but maybe to the tune of 10-15 points rather than 29. Still, Jonathan Simmons is a young player that thrives off of emotion and energy. Seeing how he has already made his highlight play of the playoffs, look for Simmons to capitalize like the player we hope he will become, or flounder in the spotlight. I am going with the former.

JayMychal Green - PF, at SA ($3,500)

Like I said before, the Spurs shouldn't spank the Grizzlies like in Game 1. This means JayMychal Green will have to have a much better game. His track record is iffy, but he has proven to be a key asset when producing. The Spurs are a great team defensively, but individually, Green is an athletic forward that can cause problems in the paint. He can also stretch the floor, but unless he starts to find his shot, he should just manage to scrape up a double-double.

Also Consider: C.J. Miles - SF, at CLE ($3,000)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Marc Gasol - C, at SA ($7,600)

Marc Gasol is clearly going to have to carry the Grizzlies along with Mike Conley. His price should be higher, but its not. Take him and play him. This is an absolute must-play.

Also Consider: Myles Turner - C, at CLE ($6,700)
