FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/20/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Another NBA Playoffs Saturday is here, with four games on today's docket. We've got two Game 4s -- Sixers/Nets and Nuggets/Spurs followed by a pair of Game 3s -- Bucks/Pistons and Rockets/Jazz.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/20/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early.

Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses. If you have any questions or need to talk NBA during the downtime, feel free to find me on Twitter @juscarts.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Spencer Dinwiddie - PG, vs. PHI ($4,700)

Though the Nets trail in the series two games to one, Dinwiddie has been a consistent source of offense for Brooklyn. Through three games, he's averaging 17.3 points as Brooklyn's main source of bench points, and while you'd like to see more than 1.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game from a point guard, Dinwiddie's ability to put in buckets keeps his fantasy floor high. Head coach Kenny Atkinson has also said that he plans to play his key players longer minutes in Game 4, giving Dinwiddie more chances to put up numbers.

Donovan Mitchell - SG, vs. HOU (8,500)

Sure, you could just go with James Harden here and guarantee yourself a ton of points, but if you're looking for a slightly more affordable option, Mitchell is coming off a Game 2 where he struggled, going 1-for-8 from deep, but is getting the kind of shot volume that screams things are definitely going to go better for me now that we're at home. Mitchell should shoot the ball 20ish times, he should give you rebounds, assists, and steals, and Saturday should be more competitive than other games in this series have been.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Nikola Mirotic - SF, @ DET ($3,700)

If you're really looking value, this Bucks/Pistons game is a place to go. Mirotic hasn't done much yet in this series, but he averaged 11.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.2 made threes per game in the regular season after coming to Milwaukee, and he's one of the cheaper options tonight. Maybe you pair him with an expensive player like teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo? And yeah, he's been a nonfactor through two games, but Mirotic has had opportunities -- he's just shot incredibly poorly, including going 0-for-5 from three in Game 1.

Tobias Harris - PF, @ BKN ($7,700)

Harris excelled in Game 3 with Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined, putting up 29 points on 11-for-19 shooting and grabbing 16 rebounds, but he was also fine in Game 2 when Embiid did play, so I don't think Embiid's availability should be a key factor in decided to play Harris, though he obviously gets a boost if Embiid does sit out again. Harris is a great shooter who stretches the floor out for the Sixers, but with some of their frontcourt depth issues, he's also capable of getting inside and making his impact known there.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, vs. DET ($9,800)

Clarity about whether or not Blake Griffin is still going to be out is...well, not clear...but if he misses another game and you feel about projecting him to miss by the time your lineup has to be set, Drummond stands ready to be Detroit's focal point. Drummond has led the NBA in rebounding in three of the last four years and thus far in the playoffs he's maintained his strong boarding, including grabbing 16 in Game 3. Drummond's almost a guarantee to get you a double-double with a scoring total in the high-teens and with the strong likelihood of a blocked shot mixed in as well. If Griffin does play, Drummond could see his shot volume decrease a little, but he'd still be a strong play, though I'd understand swapping to someone like Clint Capela or, if Joel Embiid is out, trying Nets center Jarrett Allen, who comes off the board at just $5,100.
