FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/26/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/26/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We are still at a lull in the NCAA tournament and the EuroLeague tilt is over, so let's get going on the NBA action for tonight. We have 11 games and a whole lot of players in limbo as most if not all of the ones traded wont be available for their new teams. That leaves a whole bunch of value that isn't normally there. These are often the most chaotic slates of the season right after the deadline. Combine this size with the higher than normal randomness of the player pool, and we've got an interesting one on tap.

The Blazers, despite being on night two of a back-to-back, are heavy favorites against the team formerly known as the Orlando Magic. The Bucks-Celtics implied total is in the mid-230's and the Rockets-Timberwolves might blow by that before tipoff. The Nuggets and Pels, who managed to keep Lonzo Ball, are right up there too. The Cavs are still dogs in L.A. even though LeBron will be watching from the sidelines.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/26/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden, SG – at Detroit ($11,300)

Kyrie Irving is still on some sort of sabbatical and KD is still out. That means nearly 50% usage for Harden if the neck can hold up. Reinforcements are coming, but not tonight. Harden put up 60.9 FanDuel points with Kyrie out last week against the Blazers. Detroit is going to be trying to guard His Beardness without Delon Wright, who was dealt yesterday. This is an elite spot for Harden if he can play. If not, Lillard is by far the next best option.

Anthony Edwards, SG – vs. Houston ($7,600)

Edwards has been in the top five in the league in usage over the last ten games. The Timberwolves have taken their new toy out of the box and are playing with it like they would a favorite. These are the two worst teams in the West. Much of that is due to neither team playing much defense. Houston is the short-handed team, but Houston has no reason to push John Wall and Edwards should see plenty of bench players trying to guard him with Oladipo heading east. This is already an elite matchup. Add in the usage, and Edwards has a ton of potential in this one.

Tyler Herro, SG – at Charlotte ($5,200)

Both Kendrick Nunn and Herro put up big numbers last night with Goran Dragic still on the shelf and Jimmy Butler out with an illness. If Butler is unable to play again, I would strongly consider using both. If Butler is back, Nunn is the higher priority as the starting point guard. Whatever the case, you want a piece of these guards against Charlotte tonight.

Also consider: Damian Lillard ($9,200), Jamal Murray ($7,900), Dennis Schroder ($7,200), Devonte' Graham($5,100)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jayson Tatum, PF – at Milwaukee ($8,600)

The absence of Daniel Theis wont affect Tatum's usage much, but these two teams just played in Beantown two days ago and Tatum was the best player on the court from a DFS standpoint. I completely understand if you want to jump back to Giannis thinking he wont have two poor games in a row, but I have plans for the $2,500 savings that Tatum gives us. Giannis shouldn't go that far beyond Tatum's output. If he does, I'll take my loss and move on. Tatum feels safer in this spot tonight.

Kyle Kuzma, SF – vs. Cleveland ($7,200)

Kuzma has been carrying the team in the absence of LeBron and Anthony Davis. He's not the elite player that either of them are, and we really shouldn't expect him to be. What Kuzma is is scoring well beyond his price range due to high usage and a thinner bench. I don't see Kuzma breaking the slate, but he could flirt with 50 FanDuel points here. That's the kind of return we need if we want to find ourselves high up the leaderboards on a stacked night like this.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SF – at Golden State ($4,200)

The Hawks didn't pay Bogdan that much money for him to sit around and watch. The Hawks are mostly healthy now and Bogdan is playing right around 30 minutes. He put up 34.3 FanDuel points on the Kings on Wednesday and should be expected to do something similar against the Warriors. Sure, the Warriors may be slightly better on defense without Curry and this isn't a place that I normally look to attack. However, the price on Bogdan is way too low for what his ceiling is.

Also consider: Domantas Sabonis ($8,800), Jaylen Brown ($8,000), P.J. Washington ($6,000), Chuma Okeke ($5,000)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Bam Adebayo – at Charlotte ($8,000)

Bam dominated usage with Butler off the court and will again tonight if that's still the case. Even if Butler plays, the Heat are without Kelly Olynyk and haven't received Nemanja Bjelica yet. It's just Bam, Trevor Ariza, and Precious Achiuwa up front right now. Bam is going to play a ton of minutes again because he has to. There is an outside chance that Bjelica is ready, but I would highly doubt that he is. Even so, Bam is a strong play against the Hornets

Christian Wood – at Minnesota ($7,700)

Towns has never been a strong defender and he's even worse with the team a shambles around him. Wood's ankle hasn't seemed to bother, but the Rockets have only played him 30 minutes once in the five games since his return. Some of that has to do with the team's inability to keep games close, but not all. Houston may be limiting the minutes of Wood still. That's not a huge concern for me tonight. Even if he only plays 25-28 minutes, Wood still has a shot at 50 FanDuel points.

Mason Plumlee – vs. Brooklyn ($6,800)

The Nets are good at turning average centers into Wilt Chamberlain, so expect a big outing out of Plumlee tonight. This is one of the few times that you can pay down at center on FanDuel and live to tell about it. However, the contrarian play tonight in GPP formats might be to pay up. Even casual NBA DFS players have notices that centers ravage Brooklyn. Plumlee is a strong and consistent guy, but he's hardly elite. There could be a better spot ahead of him if you can free up the capital to chase lower ownership in GPP formats tonight.

Also consider: Nikola Jokic ($10,500), Montrezl Harrell ($7,500), Mo Bamba ($4,600)
