The Friday slate has some good offensive potential, with three games coming in at a total of 6.5. Philadelphia visiting New Jersey, Buffalo visiting Washington, and Winnipeg visiting San Jose all have the potential to be a track meet.

DFS Forwards to Consider
Claude Giroux - C, PHI vs NJ (FD - $7,600, DK - $6,300)
A common theme has popped up again in New Jersey, as it seems their goaltending will be a problem once again this season. Coming off a game where Cory Schneider allowed seven goals on 23 shots, I would feel comfortable rostering pretty much anyone against this team. Since Giroux has been put together with new linemates James Van Riemsdyk and Jakub Voracek, he has double-digit FanDuel points in five of those seven games. The fantasy value of Van Riemsdyk and Voracek has also increased, and I find this line an interesting stack on today's slate.
Nikolaj Ehlers - W, WPG vs SJ (FD - $5,600, DK - $6,700)
We have another team here in San Jose that has struggled to keep their opponents from scoring goals, and Ehlers enters this game on a hot streak after being reunited with Bryan Little. Ehlers has five goals over his last five games, while Little has four points in his four games since his return. There are some question marks with whether or not Little will be playing in this game due to an undisclosed injury, however, Ehlers' fantasy value may not take that much of a hit if he doesn't. With the Jets already missing Patrik Laine and Adam Lowry for this game, they could be forced to play 11 forwards and seven defensemen, which should give a bump to Ehlers' ice time.
Also, Consider:
- Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson have been one of the hottest combos in the league over the past five games, and face John Gibson tonight who has allowed four or more goals in three of his last four games.
DFS Defenders to Consider
John Carlson - D, WSH vs BUF (FD - $7,300, DK - $7,300)
I feel like I am taking the easy way out here by picking Carlson, but if he continues to eclipse his fantasy value every night, then he is hard to ignore. He is playing almost 25+ minutes a night and has points in every game except two this season. If you choose to stack the Philadelphia line with Ehlers and Little(if he plays), then Carlson should easily fit in your lineup from a salary perspective.
Sami Vatanen - D, NJ vs PHI (FD - $4,200, DK - $5,000)
If you need even more value, Vatanen seems to be heating up for the Devils, putting up four points over his last three games. He has been one of the best defenders from a fantasy point per game perspective but still comes into this game at a minimum price.
*Note: I've noticed a trend where FanDuel is a lot slower adjusting salaries to match recent form as we see with Vatanen and Ehlers. It is something to keep in mind when taking note of players who are on a hot streak. There could be significant fantasy value for those players on FanDuel compared to DraftKings.
DFS Goalie to Consider
Jordan Binnington - G, STL vs CBJ (FD - $8,100, DK - $8,400)
Binnington came through on Wednesday when I suggested using him against Minnesota, allowing only one goal in a 2-1 win. Tonight he faces an equally bad offense in Columbus who are only averaging 2.6 goals a game. I will go back to the well here tonight and hope that I don't ride with Binnington one too many times, but as I said Wednesday, he looks to be getting back in playoff mode from last season, allowing two or fewer goals in five of his last six games.
