Welcome yet again to the weekend, RotoBallers. Today we have a fan-freakin-tastic 17 game slate of baseball. That's right, we have double headers between OAK-TB and NYM-ATL. Unfortunately we only get to play the first of each on FanDuel, thus missing out on the return of Steven Matz. But what we do get to play with, is DFS golden-child Chris Sale against a familiar foe in the Detroit Tigers. FanDuel has broken the games into a seven game Early Slate starting at 2:10 ET, and a modest six game main slate starting at the usual 7:05 ET. The remaining two games are paired into a weird Very Early slate.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/10/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and of course, value plays. Let's get rowdy.

Offensive Stacks
Kansas City Royals versus Miguel Diaz- Early Only
It's not often that I love the Royals offense, but todays match-up is pretty tasty, and the prices are even tastier. Kansas City has been offensively anemic all year, but over the last seven days they have been surging. Over that time they have scored the 13th most runs in the league and own the ninth highest BA. Today they square off against the Padres and Miguel Diaz who is starting in place of the injured Jarred Cosart. Diaz has pitched 24 innings of relief this season, and is the not-so-proud owner of a 7.50 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. This guy doesn't belong in a major league bullpen right now, and he most certainly does not belong in the starting rotation. But here we are. The Royals have five hitters with a wRC+ over 115 against RHP this season: Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, Jorge Bonifacio, Whit Merrifield, and Salvador Perez. The best part is that every single one can be rostered for less than $3,200 today.
New York Yankees versus Chris Tillman- Main
The Yankees offense has been light years beyond what I expected from them this season. They own the fourth highest SLG at Home, and the third highest SLG against RHP in 2017. Bottom line, Chris Tillman is going to have a rough day in the Bronx. As bad as Tillman has been this season (5.59 ERA, 1.83 WHIP), he has been even worse on the road. Away from Camden Yards he has allowed a 1.033 OPS. Outside of the $4,600 Aaron Judge, the rest of the top Yanks are very reasonably priced, allowing for them to be stacked even in a Chris Sale line today. The top guys to roster besides the Judge are: Matt Holliday, Aaron Hicks, Brett Gardner, Starlin Castro and Gary Sanchez. All the previously mentioned own a wRC+ of over 120 against RHP. Like I said...rough day for Tillman.
FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Carlos Martinez, STL vs PHI ($10,000)- Early Only
I like the flair of Jose Berrios against SFG today, but nothing is safer than Carlos Martinez (10.0 K/9) at home against Nick Pivetta and the Phillies. At Busch Stadium this season, C Mart is 3-1 with a 2.19 ERA that is nearly three whole runs better than on the road. The Phils currently rank 28th in the league in runs scored against RHP. By no means has this Cardinals offense been a steady source of runs either, but rolling out Nick Pivetta is nearly conceding the W to Martinez today.
Alex Wood, LAD vs CIN ($8,900)- Main
On Chris Sale day, DFS is extra tricky because his ownership is sky-high, even in GPPs. If you want to win, you either have to pick the perfect set of cheap hitters, or go with Alex Wood to separate yourself from the herd when Miggy and J.D. Martinez take Sale deep. Disclaimer: I am a Boston fan so I am allowed to be negative. Prior to taking a short hiatus on the 10 day disabled list with shoulder inflammation, Wood had been one of the best arms in baseball. In fact, he is currently working with four straight scoreless outings before todays bout with Cincy. During that span, he also has 33 strikeouts in only 23 1/3 IP. The Reds have been quite an explosive surprise this season, and supposedly even their bench MIF can hit four bombs in a game now. But of the 25 PA the current roster has versus Wood for their careers, they have only one XBH. It's a small sample size, but its really just the cherry on top of this delicious sundae.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Travis d'Arnaud - C, at ATL ($2,600)
TdA has only played in 33 games for the Mets this season, and his .224 BA might suggest he has been disappointing even when healthy. But what that BA doesn't show is that d'Arnaud has actually been hitting the ball very well, with seven HR already in just over 100 PA, with two of those coming in his last three games. He only has 17 PA against southpaws, but has collected five XBH in seven hits against them. Braves rookie LHP Sean Newcomb has been tearing up the minor leagues this season, but SunTrust Park can be unforgiving as we have seen- even to some of the best in the majors.
Also Consider: Martin Maldonado - C, at HOU ($2,200)
Miguel Cabrera - 1B, at BOS ($2,500)
This price is just a flat-out disrespectful slap in the face of a first ballot hall of famer. In 49 career AB against Chris Sale, Miggy is hitting .286/.407/.551 with four HR. As we have seen in his past two outings, Sale can be knocked around a bit when he's staying in the strike zone too much. GPP lines should start here.
Also consider: Marwin Gonzalez - 1B, vs LAA ($3,400)
Jose Altuve - 2B, vs HOU ($3,800)
Anytime you get to play Altuve in a favorable match-up for less than $4,000 is a treat. Today the all-around mini monster faces off against Ricky Nolasco who is allowing a .613 SLG to RHB this season.
Also consider: Javier Baez - 2B, vs COL ($2,300)
Jedd Gyorko - 3B, vs PHI ($3,100)
I love the value here. Gyorko has emerged as the Cardinals best power hitter, and has cemented himself in the cleanup role. For the season he is hitting .307/.352/.520 with eight dingers. He has been especially dominant against RHP, and Nick Pivetta is allowing a .661 SLG to RHB this year.
Also consider: Mike Moustakas - 3B, at SDP ($3,100)
Didi Gregorius - SS, vs BAL ($3,100)
Over the last seven days, Didi is hitting .474 with two HR. Against RHP for the season, he is hitting .310 with four HR. As you remember from before, Chris Tillman has not been good this year, and has struggled on the road. Well, he also struggles with LHB, allowing a .564 SLG to the left side of the plate. Bless his heart.
Also Consider: Aledmys Diaz - SS, vs PHI ($2,900)
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
J.D. Martinez - OF, at BOS ($2,500)
Same narrative as Miguel Cabrera except with even more gusto. The man owns a 1.818 SLG against LHP this season! He has five XBH including three HR in 35 lifetime AB against Sale. I am sorry, I don't care who Martinez is facing, he should never be allowed to drop this low. GPP heaven.
Yoenis Cespedes - OF, at ATL ($3,800)
He's backkkkkkk. Well not yet, but today he will be. The Mets outfield is now complete, and officially terrifying. Yo was slugging 1.067 against southpaws before the injury and should torture the rookie Bravo today in the friendly confines of SunTrust. Might as well use him while you can still afford him. Reportedly he will play one of the two games today. Let's hope for our sake that Terry Collins puts him in the lineup for the first one.
Matt Kemp - OF, vs NYM ($3,300)
Man have I loved taking advantage of low price points for Kemp all season. He is 6-12 with a HR and three doubles lifetime against Robert Gsellman, who is allowing a .557 SLG to RHB in his disappointing 2017 campaign. Kemp is batting .325 with 10 HR on the season, and is in a great spot today to pad those stats.
