DraftKings NFL DFS Picks - Conference Championships Main Slate

Kenneth Walker III - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL DFS Lineup Picks

We're almost there, RotoBallers! Only one more playoff slate before we get to the Super Bowl and another one of our beloved NFL seasons comes to an end. My participation in cash games has ended with only two games on the slate, but this write-up will attempt to give help and strategy toward both cash and GPP contests.

The big news of the week is the injuries that occurred in the Divisional Round. Bo Nix went from the ultimate high to the ultimate low after it was revealed he broke his ankle in the win against Buffalo. Jarrett Stidham will take the reins for Denver now. In addition, Zach Charbonnet was badly injured, thrusting Kenneth Walker III into the limelight.

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Championship Weekend DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Drake Maye, NE @ DEN ($6,000)

The "easy schedule" truthers have even more ammo against the Patriots now as they get to face a Denver squad that lost star QB Bo Nix to a broken ankle last weekend. However, Drake Maye continues to steamroll the league in his second year and is in a solid spot despite the matchup.

The Broncos have had chinks in their armor lately on the defensive end, allowing 30+ points in two of their last four games, including the last playoff game against the Bills. Maye just picked apart an elite Texans defense for three TDs, and was the QB2 this season thanks to his dual-threat ability.

VALUE PLAY

Jarrett Stidham, DEN vs. NE ($4,500)

This is purely a price play, as Jarrett Stidham is stepping into the most pressure-filled spot you can think of. Stidham took one spot this season, and that was to kneel in victory formation against the Cowboys. Now, he's tasked with taking his team to a Super Bowl against a defense that has perplexed offenses in these playoffs.

The positive thing here is Stidham's price tag, as he doesn't have to do much to hit value. He also allows you to fit in multiple elite top skill players (Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba together?). I do think the Broncos will lean on the run as much as they can in this one, but Stidham can't be hidden completely.

DraftKings Running Backs - Championship Weekend DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Kenneth Walker III, SEA vs. LAR ($6,200)

Kenneth Walker III is the play of the week for this round. After Zach Charbonnet got hurt last week, Walker had every single carry that mattered. Velus Jones Jr. (I honestly did not know he converted to RB) had six carries, but they were all at the end of the game when Seattle was safely up by 35 points.

The Rams have an above-average run defense, but Walker has succeeded against them in both matchups this season with 20.1 and 28.4 DK points. He's impossible to fade in cash contests, and it's more than likely your best practice to be over the field in GPPs as well.

VALUE PLAY

RJ Harvey, DEN vs. NE ($5,900)

RJ Harvey has leaped to the Broncos bell-cow back at the perfect time. He has fresh legs and will be heavily leaned on as Denver turns to Stidham at QB. New England has allowed the third-fewest FPPG to opposing RBs, but Harvey's volume should be enough to transcend the matchup with his price tag.

Harvey is adept in the passing game, with 21 targets over his last five games. His ability to pass protect and receive checkdowns should be incredibly helpful for Stidham, giving Harvey a solid floor/ceiling combo.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Championship Weekend DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA vs. LAR ($8,000)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is now $1,000 less than fellow stud WR Puka Nacua, which makes this a fairly easy call if picking between the two. JSN led the league in target share with a shade under a 36% rate, and was second in air yards. He wasn't needed much in the Divisional Round (although he did score a TD), but that should change this weekend.

The Rams are capable of shooting out in this one, even against the stout Seattle defense. They've been vulnerable on the back end, allowing the eighth-most FPPG to opposing WRs, and the Seahawks may shift to a bit more pass-heavy approach with Charbonnet out of the picture.

VALUE PLAY

Davante Adams, LAR @ SEA ($6,000)

Davante Adams has limited data against the Seahawks this season. He missed one of the games where the two teams faced off, and was limited to one catch on eight targets in the other contest. Fortunately for his fantasy day, that catch was a one-yard TD reception.

Despite the uncertainty and difficult matchup, Adams should be treated as a top value at $6,000. His 14 receiving TDs were first in the league, and his 35.6% red-zone target share was fourth. He's succeeded all season, even with target hog Nacua on the other side, and his TD prowess gives him a high ceiling this weekend.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Championship Weekend DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Hunter Henry, NE @ DEN ($4,800)

If playing cash, it makes more sense to dip to the sub-$4K guys. Hunter Henry, however, provides excellent upside for GPPs and should come at a fraction of the ownership of his cheaper counterparts. Among NFL TEs this season, Henry was quietly ninth in targets, sixth in air yards, and second in red-zone target share.

As stout as the Denver defense has been against the pass, it has had issues with TEs, allowing the 10th-most FPPG to the position.

VALUE PLAY

Colby Parkinson, LAR @ SEA ($3,500)

Colby Parkinson will likely be the highest-owned TE on the slate, and it's pretty easy to see why when you take his $3,500 price tag into account. Parkinson easily has the best matchup of the Rams pass-catchers, as Seattle has allowed the second-most receptions and receiving yards to TEs.

While Parkinson's value is probably a core play in cash, there are reasons to fade him in GPPs. Both Tyler Higbee and Terrance Ferguson are healthy, and the Rams were much more WR-heavy against the 49ers in the Divisional Round. Use care when utilizing him.

Thanks for reading, and good luck in your contests this weekend!
