A massive 13-game slate and if I wasn't lazy, I'd check to see if this was the biggest slate this season. The 76ers and Pelicans are set to have the highest scoring game and the value is absolutely there. Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler almost need to be started, along with Damian Lillard having plenty of upside versus the Bucks. I was totally off on my last Giannis Antetokounmpo pick, so I'll gladly double-down now that I have much more legitimate reason. Other than ridiculously thinking the Nuggets "team" defense could limit him, I'll go with a much better alternative. Al-Farouq Aminu will cause problems, but ultimately still not stop Antetokounmpo. You can literally go in any direction tonight for superstars, but Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson already have automatic spots in my lineup.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Landry Shamet - PG, vs NOP ($3,200)
Even with Landry Shamet coming off the bench, it doesn't seem like his role has changed all that much. He will continue to be one of the more consistent sources of production because of his focus on defense and ability to hit from the perimeter. His price should keep dropping because from the outside looking in, Shamet looks like he's being forced out by Jimmy Butler. In reality, it gives Shamet a more defined role with the second unit, allowing him to generate more shots and offense off the dribble. The Pelicans bench rotation isn't deep when it comes to defense so lengthier guard, his upside is there and this should be a close game.
Andre Iguodala - SG/SF, vs OKC ($3,600)
The Thunder have been sacrificing the 20th most points to opposing small forwards and in a heated game like this, Andre Iguodala is guaranteed to do something. His role player mentality causes problems, but not tonight. With Steph Curry out and the Warriors readjusting their offensive dynamics, it's no surprise that the Warriors needed a few games to figure things out after losing the most important offensive piece in NBA history. They might still need another game or two to get re-focused, but Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson started to heat up closer to the end of the game. Look for both players to be on their game, with Iguodala commanding a majority of the playmaking.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Thaddeus Young - SF/PF, at CHA ($4,000)
As annoying as it is to track someone like Thaddeus Young, he can be an ideal spot-start on any given night. The Hornets have been playing poorly, giving Kemba Walker all the freedom he needs to score 40 points a night. While that very well may happen again tonight, Young will have upside against the Hornets frontcourt and he always manages to score in some way or another. If his price was any higher, I would say avoid Young per usual. This time, I think he provides an excellent value play with all-around upside.
Dario Saric - PF, vs DEN ($4,200)
I mean, you could substitute Dario Saric for Thaddeus Young and get an entirely different level of production. Neither is really a guaranteed play, but Saric having more of a hair-trigger from the perimeter means you have to play him against the Nuggets. While Young has an increased ceiling because of his rebounding ability, Saric has upside in both shooting and rebounding. The only player that can keep Saric from producing would be Paul Millsap and no way the Nuggets waste their best defensive player on Saric. Look for the Nuggets to allow Saric to shoot the Timberwolves way into this game before they decide to lock him down.
DraftKings DFS Center
Dewayne Dedmon - PF/C, vs TOR ($4,200)
This game has avoid written all over it, but Dewayne Dedmon is an experienced veteran that actually plays better when the rest of the team is struggling. If the Hawks keep this game close, it will be because of their offense and Dedmon is guaranteed some of that usage. With so few reliable options in the Atlanta frontcourt, Dedmon provides spacing, range, defense and rebounding. He basically does it all and does it with a chip on his shoulder. Dedmon is the type of veteran that is usually consistent when all else fails. The rest of the Hawks might struggle, but Dedmon will make sure to establish himself against a top team in the conference.
