DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/21/17): NBA DFS Advice

We continue to have small slates because of the playoffs, and they are only going to get smaller as teams get eliminated. That doesn't mean they should be avoided, though, as there is plenty of value to go along with some elite options.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/21/17. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays. Shall we dance?

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - vs HOU ($13,900)

Westbrook struggled in the first game of this series, but he posted 96.5 fantasy points in the second game. He's a triple double threat on a nightly basis, and it seems as if he has realized that he needs to take over the offense if the Thunder want a chance to win the game. Westbrook took 43 shots in the second game of this series, and he'll likely take more than 30 shots again tonight. He isn't going to come cheap, but there is enough value on this slate to lock him into your lineups.

Paul Zipser - vs BOS ($2,800)

Zipser is the type of value needed to fit Westbrook into lineups. He's playing minutes in the 20s, and he has played well for the most part this season. He's a player that has flashed great scoring ability, but he can also add peripheral stats on a nightly basis. He's averaging 15.1 fantasy points per game against the Celtics in the playoffs, and Zipser comes with a ridiculous price tag. He can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jimmy Butler - vs BOS ($9,900)

There were questions surrounding Butler in the playoffs because of the return of Dwyane Wade. That hasn't seemed to affect Butler, though, as he has scored 55.0 and 48.75 fantasy points in his first two games against the Celtics. He isn't going to come cheap, but he's the clear leader of the Bulls offense, and he can contribute in each of the five categories. There aren't a plethora of great forwards on this slate, and Butler makes a great otpion.

Kelly Olynyk - at CHI ($4,600)

Olynyk has only played 24 and 23 minutes in the first two games of this series, but he has been able to score 29.0 and 27.0 fantasy points in those games. He's contributing in multiple categories, and he doesn't need big minutes to hit value at his current price tag. He's eligible at forward and center tonight, and Olynyk makes an elite salary relief option on the limited slate.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Clint Capela - at OKC ($5,400)

Capela has been underpriced all season, and the playoffs are no different. He has played somewhat of limited minutes against the Thunder in the first two games, but he has still been able to score 29.0 and 31.75 fantasy points in those games. He's a player that can score fantasy points in a hurry, and he could see closer to 30 minutes tonight. He should have no problems exceeding value tonight, and Capela is an elite option in all leagues for his price tag.
