In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/14/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. DraftKings DFS Guards
Chris Paul - PG, vs LAL ($9,800)
Chris Paul has been very up and down this season, but of recent, he has been on a hot streak. In his last seven games, he has over 40 fantasy points in all of them. He posted 59 fantasy points in only 29 minutes two games ago against the Miami Heat, showing off his tremendous upside. Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have been a pesky team this season, and if this game stays close, expect Paul to dominate value. Of all the point guard options on the board, Paul has one of the highest upsides. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
TJ McConnell - PG, at WAS ($5,600)
TJ McConnell has been playing well of recent for the Philadelphia 76ers, and he has great upside tonight against the Washington Wizards. Four games ago, McConnell posted a huge 40 plus fantasy point outing against the Boston Celtics in 37 minutes of court time. He has been playing around 30-35 minutes per game of recent for the Sixers, and while he is not a main scoring option, he tends to produce, as far as fantasy is concerned. John Wall and company are known for their uptempo game speed and lack of defense. McConnell has over 25 fantasy points in four of his last five contests.
Also Consider: Tony Parker - PG, at PHX ($4,700)
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Anthony Davis - PF/C, at CHI ($11,400)
Anthony Davis is likely going to play tonight against the Chicago Bulls. He has been battling an injured left hip, but it appears as if he is fully healthy now. The Bulls are not terrible defensively, but Davis has too high of an upside to pass on him in tournaments. In his last game, he posted over 70 fantasy points in only 29 minutes on the court. That was against the New York Knicks. With over 50 fantasy points in five consecutive games now, it is very unlikely that Davis disappoints tonight. He is best suited for tournaments, but can be rostered in all leagues, if need be.
LaMarcus Aldridge - PF/C, at PHX ($6,900)
LaMarcus Aldridge struggled in his latest outing, which was against the Los Angeles Lakers. He posted 20.5 fantasy points in only 24 minutes on the court. Tonight, he gets another great matchup, this time against the Phoenix Suns. There is no way that Aldridge struggles in two straight games against two horrible defenses. He has over 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games, so it is safe to roster the San Antonio Spurs big man in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. He should at least hit value tonight against Eric Bledsoe and company.
Also Consider: Derrick Favors - PF/C, vs ORL ($4,800)
DraftKings DFS Centers
Rudy Gobert - C, vs ORL ($6,600)
Rudy Gobert has been playing well of recent for the Utah Jazz, and he should continue to excel tonight against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to playing defense against the center position, which means Gobert should be able to score when given the opportunity. The Jazz big man relies more so on rebounds and blocks for fantasy production, however. With over 35 fantasy points in three of his last five games, Gobert can be rostered in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
