In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/8/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Eric Bledsoe - PG, vs CLE ($7,800)
Eric Bledsoe has been playing great of recent, and tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. If the Phoenix Suns want to keep this game close, Bledsoe is going to have to score early and often, which is great news for fantasy owners. In his last five games, he has over 34 fantasy points in all of them and over 45 fantasy points in two. For his price tag, that is great production, and he is worth consideration in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight.
George Hill - PG, at MEM ($6,200)
George Hill is a very high-upside option tonight at the point guard position. While Eric Bledsoe can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments, Hill should be used in tournaments only. He has over 35 fantasy points in two of his last three games, but he also has under 15 fantasy points in two of his last four games. The Memphis Grizzlies are a very tough opponent, but Hill is essentially matchup-proof. He is a big part of the Utah Jazz offense, and he has the same upside that Bledsoe has for a fraction of the price. Again, do not roster him in cash games.

FanDuel DFS Forwards
LeBron James - SF, at PHX ($10,100)
If the Phoenix Suns keep this game close, LeBron James is liable to post over 70 fantasy points. In his last six games, he has over 35 fantasy points in all of them and over 50 fantasy points in three. The Suns are going to push the pace of the game, even though the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to score at will. If this game gets out of hand, LeBron James will go into 'coast-mode', but if Eric Bledsoe and company are pesky enough to stick around into the fourth quarter, James should have one of the best games of his 2016-2017 season. Roster the best forward in the league in tournaments.
Derrick Favors - PF, at MEM ($4,300)
Derrick Favors gets a tough matchup tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, but due to his talent level and low price tag, he is worth consideration in all leagues. In his last game, he played over 30 minutes and posted over 30 fantasy points. As long as he continues to get 30 plus minutes, he is going to continue to crush value. His price tag will come up soon. It is only so low because he has been dealing with a nagging injury all season long. Take advantage of this value play while it lasts.
Also Consider: Bojan Bogdanovic - SF, vs PHI ($4,100)
FanDuel DFS Centers
Joel Embiid - C, at BKN ($7,300)
Joel Embiid is finally starting to see around 30 minutes per game, and tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing centers, and Embiid has been very impressive in limited minutes. In his last five games, he has over 35 fantasy points in all of them and over 40 fantasy points in two. He is very likely going to at least hit value, but his upside is much higher than that. There is no reason to avoid him in 50/50 contests or tournaments. This is the easiest recommendation on the slate.
