Daily Fantasy NBA Lineup Picks For FanDuel (1/31/17) - DFS Basketball Advice

It is going to be a great set of games tonight. The Los Angeles Lakers are without Julius Randle, opening up an array of great fantasy value options. That allows for players like Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony to both find their way into a lineup. It will definitely be an interesting slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/31/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, at SAS ($12,200)

Russell Westbrook is obviously one of the best guard options on the board tonight, as he always is. In his last five games, he has over 50 fantasy points in four of them, and over 60 fantasy points in two. The San Antonio Spurs are solid defensively, but Westbrook loves to be challenged. If this game stays close, which it should, Westbrook will take over the offense. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Jameer Nelson - PG, at LAL ($5,100)

Jameer Nelson is also worth consideration in all leagues tonight. He gets a great matchup against the defensiveless Los Angeles Lakers, and he should be able to at least hit value, as his price tag is very low. In his last three games, he has over 28 fantasy points in all of them, posting over 35 fantasy points against the Phoenix Suns in 42 minutes. He is not all that productive, but at his price tag and with the amount of court time he is bound to see, he does not have to be.

Also Consider: Courtney Lee - SG, at WAS ($4,800)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, vs OKC ($9,600)

Kawhi Leonard is a great option at the small forward position tonight. As previously mentioned, the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are going to go back and forth tonight, which means that Russell Westbrook will take over for his team, and Kawhi Leonard will take over for his team. Leonard is expensive, but there are so many solid value options tonight that it does not really matter; he will fit in a lineup with Russell Westbrook fairly easily. In his last five games, he has over 50 fantasy points in three of them.

Markieff Morris - PF, vs NYK ($6,900)

Markieff Morris is one of the best cash game forward options in the league right now. He is consistent hitting value around 30 fantasy points, and he makes for a great pair with John Wall. Both Washington Wizards are very adept at hitting value and are great for cash games. Morris gets a great matchup tonight against the New York Knicks, and he should hit value. Get him into those cash game lineups, as his price tag is very reasonable.

Also Consider:  Larry Nance - PF, vs DEN ($3,800)

FanDuel DFS Centers

DeMarcus Cousins - C, at HOU ($11,400)

DeMarcus Cousins is always worth consideration, but it is Ivica Zubac that really needs to find his way into most lineups. That said, Cousins has over 60 fantasy points in two consecutive games, and if Russell Westbrook against the San Antonio Spurs is enough to scare you, roster Cousins instead. There is not a compared point guard at Ivica Zubac's price tag, though, so keep that in mind. The Houston Rockets are horrible defensively  against opposing big men, and Cousins is going to make them pay.

Also Consider: Ivica Zubac - C, vs DEN ($3,900)
