Daily Fantasy NBA Lineup Picks for FanDuel (12/9/16) - DFS Basketball Advice

Nine games make up Friday night's slate. - all nine are intriguing for daily fantasy. These are my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/9/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

One matchup specifically jumps out at me, between two high-scoring teams, featuring two of the leagues best. It should be one interesting night on the court. Here's a look at my picks for FanDuel, good luck RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, vs OKC ($12,700)

This game has high-scoring written all over it. Who else will be at the center of a ton of shot attempts and a fast-paced tempo. Westbrook is almost guaranteeing close to 60 fantasy points each night and has transformed into a walking triple-double. The Oklahoma City Thunder host a Houston Rockets squad Friday night that plays at a similar energetic level. This should definitely have the highest over/under according to Vegas standards. Westbrook is the most expensive player on the slate, but is worth every penny. Draft him without question.

James Harden - SG, @ OKC ($11,500)

This is not a joke. You are reading this correctly. Yes, draft both Westbrook and James Harden. They will be squaring off against each other all night, while it would be a huge surprise if the ball isn't in both their hands for the majority of the game. Harden is another player for daily fantasy that you should never feel guilty about spending up for. Because, like Westy, he's typically always worth it. Harden is just as capable as his counterpart at posting triple-doubles.

Houston averages 112.2 points per game (second in the league) while Oklahoma is seventh in the NBA with 107.4 a night. I love it.

Also Consider: Brandon Jennings - PG, @ SAC ($4,800)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Thabo Sefalosha - SF, @ MIL ($4,200)

Now it's time to spend down to be able to afford the two aforementioned superstars. Sefalosha has entered the starting lineup while Kyle Korver has been ushered to a bench role. Even though Korver has benefited more from the switch, Sefalosha has still contributed on the court and for daily fantasy. Sefalosha will never blow you away with his stat lines, but each category has been sprinkled with a crooked number of late. He's affordable and is a multiple steals threat on a consistent basis.

Gorgui Dieng - PF, vs DET ($5,500)

Dieng is another player that can free up a ton of cap space, and can produce for daily fantasy without needing to put the ball in the hoop. He is a rebound machine and hasn't posted less than five boards since November 8th. He flirts with double-digit rebounds and double-doubles every night, and heads into an intriguing matchup against the Detroit Pistons.

Also Consider: Kevin Love - PF, vs MIA ($7,800)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Al Horford - C, vs TOR ($7,900)

Horford has become Mr. Versatility for the Boston Celtics. Listed at the center position, Horford is averaging 1.3 3PM and 3.7 3PA per game. His assist totals are also through the roof sitting at 5.3 per contest compared to his career average of 2.8. He's flourishing in all areas and is still listed at a relatively inexpensive price. It's hard not to draft Horford every time he laces up, specifically in what should be a competitive showdown against the Toronto Raptors.

Also Consider: Greg Monroe - C, vs ATL ($5,000)
