Tonight is a solid nine-game slate. The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are set to showdown in what should be a very high-scoring contest. That is a great game to attack. What other players, aside from James Harden and Kevin Durant, should be targeted?

Read on for the top daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel (1/20/17). The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, vs GSW ($12,200) 

The Golden State Warriors are headed into Houston to face off with James Harden and the rest of the Rockets squad. This should be a very interesting matchup, and Vegas currently has the game projected at over 235 total points, making James Harden and Kevin Durant very hard to avoid from a fantasy perspective. Harden has over 55 fantasy points in three of his last five contests, and he should see similar numbers tonight against the Warriors. His price tag is very high right now, but he is still worth it. Roster him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments, especially considering that the shooting guard position is rather weak on most nights.

Kyle Lowry - PG, at CHA ($8,800) 

Kyle Lowry continues to be the best cash game point guard option in the league right now. His price tag is very reasonable, and he is consistently posting over 40 fantasy points. In fact, he has over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he should post over 40 fantasy points against the Charlotte Hornets tonight. Pairing Lowry with DeMar DeRozan is one of the safest stacks on the board. Safety is great for 50/50 contests.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant - SF, at HOU ($10,500) 

As previously mentioned, James Harden and the Houston Rockets will host Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors tonight. Vegas has this games set at over 235 total points, so it will be almost impossible to avoid using Harden and/or Durant tonight. Durant posted 64.4 fantasy points in his last contests, which was against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tonight, Durant will look to prove to the world that he, not Harden or Westbrook, should secure the NBA MVP trophy. That will force him to play just a little bit harder and more selfishly. Roster Durant in all leagues.

Paul George - SF, at LAL ($7,400)

Paul George has not been great this season for the Indiana Pacers, but he does have great upside. George used to be one of the league's best small forwards. Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, and his price tag is a bit too low currently. Recently, against the Detroit Pistons, he posted over 44 fantasy points in 36 minutes. He has the ability to do something similar tonight. Do not roster him in 50/50 contests. He is a tournament-only option.

Also Consider: Julius Randle - PF, vs IND ($6,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, vs POR ($8,400)

Joel Embiid is the best center option on the board tonight without a doubt. His price tag is starting to get rather high, but his production is just as high. In his last four games, he has over 40 fantasy points in all of them, and the Portland Trailblazers uptempo style is only going to benefit the Philadelphia 76ers last remaining hope at a bright future. Embiid is dominating on the glass and in the paint, and Mason Plumlee is not going to be the center to stop him. Embiid can be rostered safely in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. Expect 40 plus fantasy points yet again tonight.
