Captain Plays

sh1ro is a top spend-up option on this slate and would be a very popular captain option despite his high price tag. He has a 1.54 K/D ratio over his last 35 maps played and has a strong .74 kill per round rate while having an extremely low death per round rate of .48. Sh1ro has gone plus in four out of his last five matches played and is one of the safer overall plays to consider.

s1mple has always graded out to be a top captain play even if he manages to be just a one-off play from NaVi. When looking at his last 17 maps played, s1mple has produced a 1.35 K/D ratio while having a strong .81 kill per round rate while having a low death per round rate of .60. He has managed to go plus in seven straight maps while hitting double digits from a K/D perspective in five out of seven of those games.

Other captain plays in order of preference: degster, mir, EL1an

Value Plays

SENSEi has been a strong player for the Akuma squad and while he draws a tough matchup against Gambit, he makes for a great one-off from a tournament perspective. Over the last 16 maps that he has played, he has produced a 1.25 K/D ratio and has produced a .74 kill per round rate while having only a .59 death per round rate. He has managed to plus in six out of his last seven best of 3 matches that he has played and would be one to consider in tournament builds based on his price and form.

iDISBALANCE has been in great form for the Spirit squad as he has a 1.17 K/D ratio over his last 38m maps that he has played. He has dominated against lesser competition over the last month and would be one to consider in all formats based on his recent form, pricing, and overall matchup. He has gone plus in eight out of his last 10 matches played  and has a .73 kill per round rate while having a .63 death per round rate.

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Gambit is the largest favorite on the slate and there is a lot to like about this matchup for them from a stacking standpoint. Gambit comes into this matchup on a nine-game winning streak and in those nine matchups, they have managed to record seven sweeps. Gambit has a team K/D ratio of 1.17 over their last months' worth of games played while Akuma is 7-9 with a team K/D ratio over their last months' worth of games played.

The pricing on the Gambit squad is pretty steep so fitting in their top three main guys might be tough to do. The first priority is getting sh1ro into your lineup as he has the highest K/D ratio on the squad and is the top player in the world. Ax1Le and Hobbit are the other two Gambit members to heavily consider as they both carry a K/D ratio above 1.20 over the last 35 maps played with the edge going to Ax1Le since he is 1k cheaper when it comes to his salary. If you're wanting to grab a cheap Gambit player, the preferred player would be interz as he is the cheapest member at $6,600 and has hit the 50 point plateau in four out of his last six matches played.

Other Stacks: Spirit, Entropiq
