ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Angels pitcher Cam Bedrosian has regained the Angels' closer job and is a great fantasy option. Bud Norris was the Angels close, but has three losses and two blown saves over his last seven appearances, losing the closer's job. This gave another chance to Bedrosian, who opened the season as the closer, but went on the disabled list with a groin injury and missed about two months. He then posted a 5.06 ERA in June (5 1/3 innings) and 7.71 ERA in July (9 1/3 innings), making him a poor late inning option in Los Angeles. In August, however, the ineffective work from Norris has been paired with 4 2/3 scoreless innings from Bedrosian, including eight strikeouts. He also has just eight walks compared to 35 strikeouts in 26 innings this season, adding further value.

Bedrosian could very easily be a top-10 RP for the remainder of the season, much like Edwin Diaz last season, as he had a 1.09 WHIP and 1.12 ERA for the Angels last season and his 3.81 ERA is really just a testament of one bad outing (he allowed five earned runs in 1/3 of an inning on July 26). His power pitching profile is very impressive and the winning ways of the Angels enhance his stock as well. He is an immediate add in all formats.
