Nik Bonitto 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Three Consecutive 13-plus Sack Seasons Within Reach
Over the last two seasons, only Myles Garrett had registered more sacks than Nik Bonitto's 27.5, which likely would have been higher if not for a broken right hand that slowed him down last season (eight sacks in the first six games). Bonitto's ability to get to the quarterback is one of the major reasons the Denver Broncos' defense is among the most revered in the NFL as we head into the 2026 season. Bonitto gets most of the accolades, but teams can't focus solely on him, as the Broncos, as a team, have recorded 131 total sacks since the start of the 2024 season. The Mile High edge rusher also created 61 (third-most) when being blocked one-on-one in 2025. With Zach Allen, Jonathon Cooper, and Alex Singleton all returning up front, along with Patrick Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga patrolling the secondary once again, there is no reason Bonitto can't replicate his production from each of the past two seasons once more.
