The Cut List curse continues, as some more players are heating up just after I write about them here. I'm looking at you Adam Wainwright. Anyway, June is fast approaching. Some of those highly touted prospects could be up soon and that means it's time to trim the fat on your rosters to make room.

Here is a list of some guys with whom you shouldn't waste your time, as we head into Week 8 of the fantasy baseball season.

Week 8 Players to Consider Cutting

1) Brandon Drury (3B/OF, ARI)

The concerns about his low walk rate are starting to come to fruition. The worst part is that Chip Hale keeps moving him around in the lineup. So even when Drury has a good game, often times it comes in a slot that isn't conducive to fantasy production. He only has one homer in the last 12 days, and only one RBI in that span. The contact skills are still there but Arizona is a bit of a mess in terms of having a lot of bats they want to squeeze in. Personally, I think it might be time to just jettison him if you have a better option. That said, he could still be effective in deeper leagues if there is no alternative on the wire.

2) Matt Holliday (OF, STL)

The veteran outfielder for the Cardinals is still producing, but not very frequently. He's best saved for very deep leagues. After his two-homer outburst on the 12th, he only has two hits and two RBI. His name value has likely kept him on some rosters, and that short outburst likely got him onto some rosters if he was dropped. It's time to get him back on the wire though in anything shallower than a 14 team league.

3) Prince Fielder (TEX, 1B)

It's unbelievable that this one time fantasy stud has fallen so hard. Actually given his injuries and his age, maybe not that unbelievable. His average is under .200, and Fielder's two homers make him more court jester than Prince. He still has 23 RBI on the season, but it hasn't been pretty. He's worth holding in 14 team leagues, but in anything shallower he's droppable.

4) Lucas Duda (NYM, 1B)

Dude made for a cheap power source entering the season. 30 homer upside in a solid Mets lineup? Sounds good right? Well, it hasn't been great early on. Sure, Duda's hot streaks can win you a week. You can't count on that though, and they're extremely unpredictable. Moreover, he's dealing with an injury now so who knows how that's going to affect him in the long run. Do yourself a favor and ditch this headache.

So these are some guys you shouldn't cut just yet, but who would be the first to go on most rosters if you need to add someone else.

1) Gerardo Parra (COL, OF)

Parra was going strong for a while there, and a 20/20 season actually looked like it could happen. Now I'm not so sure. Parra hasn't driven in a run in over a week, and he hasn't stolen a base since April 25th. Hopefully a return to Coors will get him going again, but for now benching him might not be a bad idea. If he doesn't show some improvement though, it may be time to cut him.

2) Michael Brantley (CLE, OF)

Relax, I'm not saying you should cut a guy you probably took fairly early. I also know he hasn't gotten much time to get an accurate reading on him. However, shoulder injuries are tricky. If he doesn't show signs of life upon his return it might be time to consider cutting him. For reference I saw him get cut in a 13 team Roto league. Those in redraft leagues should feel more at ease in cutting Brantley. In keepers or dynasties, be patient.
