News and Player Outlook

10/12:Less than 24 hours after coming on for a six-out save and failing to hold on, Aroldis Chapman was summoned once again tonight at AT&T Park. Following a shocking ninth-inning comeback, the Cubs were three outs away from their second consecutive NLCS. On came Chapman, and in a vastly different performance from the night before, he struck out all three batters he faced. The Cuban Missile averaged over 100 MPH for every pitch he threw, displaying the incredibly vital trait of bouncing back after a meltdown. Chapman and company will now have three days off before beginning the NLCS at Wrigley Field on Saturday night.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
