BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues; Head-to-Head Leagues (2 Starts in Week 5)
ANALYSIS: Jason Vargas has been pitching great to start the MLB season, and should be added off the waiver wire if you need pitching depth. He's one of the two-start pitchers next week, facing Toronto and then Detroit, both at home. Not the easiest matchups in the world, but Vargas already shut down Detroit in week 1 holding them to 1 ER with 6 Ks over 7 IP. For the season, Vargas has a very solid 1.54 ERA and 1.00 WHIP, with 18 Ks over 35 IP. He pitches deep into games, and has thrown at least 6 IP in all 5 of his starts. Stash him at the very least off the waiver wire, if he's still available in your fantasy baseball league, as he's currently only 38% owned in Yahoo leagues and is on a nice hot streak.Check out RotoBaller's entire 2016 fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups and sleepers list, updated daily!
