DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 11/19/15

There’s only three games on the slate for tonight, making every single selection oh-so-important. A tactic to utilize is that if you are not comfortable with the lineup you have set, take a day off and play tomorrow. For those that will join in the fun for Thursday’s action, jump right in below.

Here are my picks for DraftKings plays for Thursday, November 19, 2015. These picks are intended for cash game and double-up games. As always, make sure to check the lineups before the game to make sure everyone is healthy and not considered a dreaded “DND.”

DraftKings Point Guards

Steph Curry, GS - $10,800

I’m a genius! No one would ever think about starting Curry in this spot!

Goran Dragic, MIA - $5,200

Miami’s slow tempo appears to be working against Dragic’s skill set, as most of his numbers are down from last season. He has looked better in his last two outings in which he scored 14 and 16 points, respectively. The big plus of his last two games are the minutes. The 34 and 36 minutes he played rank second and first for his season. It appears his slow start to the season was just that. Now it is starting to look like he will break out of that slump. Make no mistake. Owners should pay up for Curry, but Dragic is a solid plug-in for salary cap relief.

DraftKings Shooting Guards

Jamal Crawford, LAC - $4,600

This is kind of a no-brainer, especially if you roster Curry. The Clippers are absolutely decimated in the backcourt with injuries to Chris Paul and JJ Redick. Crawford will get a ton of minutes and be the primary ball holder and perimeter threat for most of his time on the court.

Austin Rivers, LAC - $3,900

For double up and cash games, Crawford is the better pick. The risk/reward play is Rivers. For his sheer upside in a game that Vegas likes for 212 total points, feel free to roster Rivers in a tournament.

DraftKings Small Forwards

LeBron James, CLE - $10,100

I am going to do everything in my power to fit both LeBron and Curry into my lineups. However, it is going to be extremely tough considering how solid the other forward position is for Thursday’s slate. I am okay with players finding space for LBJ, but I may have to cut him for the larger men.

Andre Iguodala, GS - $4,900

At this point, you are probably seeing a lot of guys from Thursday night’s Warriors-Clippers matchup. It’s because this game is going to be the fastest and have the most points scored. Vegas has the over/under at 212.5. Next on that list is the Kings-Heat game, listed at 200.5 total points. That is a huge drop-off. I feel comfortable in rostering Iguodala, who looks to see extra minutes as a ball handler with injuries to Klay Thompson and Livingston, knowing that he played 32 minutes and dropped seven assists in his last game.

DraftKings Power Forwards

Blake Griffin, LAC - $9,600

Although I am going to try and fit in Curry and LBJ, I have to roster Blake and Curry. If anyone can fit in LBJ, Blake and Curry, then kudos to you. But Griffin and Curry are must starts. Of course last week I recommended Griffin, and he was ejected after two technical fouls. Hopefully I am not a curse for him. Otherwise, Griffin has all the factors to be the high scorer at the power forward slot Thursday night.

DraftKings Centers

Greg Monroe, MIL - $7,600

The Bucks’ big man was awful in his last outing. He finished with four points on 1-of-6 shooting and five boards against a Wizards team that will most likely get dominated by big men this season. The game was pretty much over in the second quarter, so Monroe only hit 26 minutes. He should be fresh and a focal point of the offense against the Cavs.
