Danny Woodhead (RB, SD) - Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Stash in all PPR leagues; start in deeper PPR leagues.
ANALYSISRyan Mathews owners already know that Woodhead is starting to see an increased role. Add this to Ronnie Brown's TD vulture, and Mathews owners are certainly starting to sweat. Woodhead has now seen double-digit touches in back to-back weeks, and he put up some solid numbers for PPR owners. With 33 yards on the ground on just five carries in Week Three against the Titans, along with seven catches for 55 yards, he had a solid performance.  That makes 15 catches in the last two weeks on 17 targets. He did lose a fumble in the game, but with Ryan Matthews failing to impress on the ground and only seeing one target in his past two games, it seems Woodhead is settling into a chippy PPR play akin to Darren Sproles. If Mathews doesn't step it up, and Brown continues to be nothing but a 32-year-old goal-line vulture, Woodhead could become the PPR running back waiver pickup of the year.
