- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Saturday, November 21st
We are back and set for a huge 11 game slate in the NHL on Saturday night. With so many games it is best in cash games to pay up for your goaltender as their are so many value plays in the player pool. When looking for those values look for players who have moved up a line or two and jumped into a new role. It seems to be taking the sites a long time to adjust to current production but if we don't jump on board early the ownership tends to sky rocket. Let's take a look at some core plays for Saturday night.
Henrik Lundqvist - Goaltender, Rangers (DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel - $10,600)
He is the top goaltender in the NHL on the Eastern Conference leading New York Rangers. Coming off a loss in his last start which ended a six game win streak and rarely loses two straight. Look for a bounce back game for the Rangers when they head to Florida to face the Panthers Saturday night.
Tyler Seguin - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $9,000 FanDuel - $8,800)
He sits 2nd in league scoring with 28 points in 20 games. He has also added a +8 rating and 9 powerplay points. He comes as a better play on FanDuel where he will only cost 16% of your salary vs. 18% over on DraftKings.
T.J. Oshie - Winger, Capitals (DraftKings - $6,100 FanDuel - $6,000)
If you are looking to get exposure to the Capitals but can't afford Ovechkin, he makes a great play in large field tournaments. His production is up and down but playing with Ovechkin gives almost any player upside.
Ryan O'Reilly - Winger, Sabres (DraftKings - $5,300 FanDuel - $5,600)
Cheap option on both sites and is in the middle of a hot streak with goals in three straight games. In those three games he has also picked up 17 shots on goal. Wow. That definitely gives him a nice floor on Saturday.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Defense, Coyotes (DraftKings - $5,500 FanDuel - $5,900)
A great pivot off of the top priced guys Saturday night and has points in seven straight and eight of his last nine games. He is currently averaging 17.5 shot attempts per 60 minutes and leads the league with 5:54 of powerplay time per game.
